Web standards
The World Wide Web Consortium
The W3C was founded in 1994 by Tim Berners-Lee, the original architect of the World Wide Web. The organization's purpose is to develop universal standards, so ensuring the Web evolves in a single direction rather than being splintered among competing factions. Since 1994, W3C has published more than ninety such standards and Pop2 has been actively involved in keeping up to date on these standards which encapsulate HTML, CSS and other languages associated with the World Wide Web.Standards and your website
Not everyone is using the latest version of Internet Explorer, with all the plug-ins and programs that they may require to access your website. Different browsing technologies each have their own accessibility requirements, so Pop2 create web pages which apply standards-based markup and design practices. These are essential for ensuring that content can be accessed by the widest range of consumers, no matter what their hardware, connection speed, browser or disability may be.By keeping abreast of these standards, Pop2 ensure that your website will be compatible with any future developments in the field.
